We know that separating from your partner is one of the most difficult things you might ever have to do. It can feel like you don’t know what to do for the best, and anger and frustration get the better of you.
If you’re finding it difficult please remember it can be even harder for your children. It is the conflict within separation that causes much of the damage to children and so Pro-Contact works with all families to find an arrangement that balances the need for contact with any risk of harm.
Abuse and violence are not acceptable and are damaging to children even when they are not the immediate victims. But separation from a parent or family member or, sometimes, another attachment figure also carries risks for a child.
Pro-Contact works with other professionals and with parents to ensure an outcome that is best for children and manageable by others it affects.
Pro-Contact helps families with many different needs during or following separation.
